Would this shirt (in white) flatter a size sixteen with back fat?
If not, can you reccomend a similiar style blouse in the same price range? Can you do a whole post on shirts?
 

Your best bet for a button-down shirt is to find a retailer that does shirts based on bra-size -- like Rebecca and Drew, who sell at Neiman Marcus -- or opt for a stretchy fabric.

To be honest, I don't think that white shirts are very flattering at all, on anyone!

They aren't flattering, not at all, but I'm in a choir and it's required performance wear. I almost wish we had to wear those frumpy big robes!
